Tripper Wordpress Theme - Rating, Reviews, Preview, Demo & Download
Theme Description

Tripper is a travel booking WordPress theme with a real booking engine behind it. Publish a tour, a hotel room, a rental car or a day experience — the same availability check, cart and checkout handles all four, and payment is taken offline by bank transfer or in person. No payment gateway to set up and no commission.

15 home layouts, 4 kinds of travel business

Every home page is a real page built from editable blocks — import one and start moving sections around, not fighting a fixed template.
- Tours: Arch · Collage · Postcards · Agency
- Hotels & stays: Classic · Split Hero · Editorial · Map Split
- Car rental: Cinematic Dark · Bright & Friendly · Editorial Amber
- Experiences & activities: Classic · Editorial
- All types on one site: Marketplace · Editorial
Why Tripper
These are the four things Tripper does that a layout cannot.
1. Four businesses, one booking engine

Tours, hotel rooms, rental cars and experiences aren’t four plugins bolted together. Each is an entry in one registry, and all four share the same availability check, cart and checkout. Run one type or all four on the same site.
- Tours — fixed departure dates, priced per adult and per child
- Hotels — check-in / check-out ranges with room types and occupancy
- Car rental — pick-up / drop-off date ranges, priced per day
- Experiences — dated time slots sold as tickets
2. Availability that actually holds inventory
Set a schedule once — running days, seats, a rolling horizon, a booking cut-off, closed dates and per-date overrides — and Tripper turns it into real departures. Seats, rooms and cars are held the moment someone books. The “N spots left” a visitor sees is the same number you see in the admin, so you can’t oversell a departure.
3. One cart, one checkout, no payment gateway

A safari, three hotel nights and a rental car go into the same cart, are re-priced on the server, and settle on one page. Customers pay by bank transfer or in person, so there’s no gateway to configure and no card data on your server. Unpaid holds are released automatically after a window you set.
4. An admin built for running the business

The Tripper Dashboard answers “what needs me today?” at a glance: bookings by status (pending, confirmed, cancellation requested), unread enquiries, how many listings you have of each type, and a setup check that flags anything still missing, such as bank-transfer instructions or pretty permalinks.
Behind it, a bookings calendar shows what’s actually happening: who departs Thursday, who’s checked in this weekend, which cars go out Monday. Each listing type has its own Manage screen showing how full every listing is, and the enquiry inbox catches visitors who aren’t ready to book.
Features
Listings & detail pages
- Four listing types: Tours, Hotels, Cars and Experiences
- Tour detail page in 3 layouts (gallery, gallery + map, full-bleed hero + map)
- Hotel detail page in 2 layouts, with room types and occupancy
- Galleries, overview, inclusions / exclusions, FAQs and policies (plus an itinerary on experiences)
- Similar listings, star ratings and reviews on every type
- “Send enquiry” form on every listing, independent of the cart
- Destination and category taxonomies with their own archive pages
Search, filters & listing pages
- Search bar: destination, dates, adults and children
- Availability-aware date search — returns only listings that are actually free on that date
- Filters for price range, duration and category, plus sorting
- Grid, list and map views, switchable by the visitor with a default you choose
- Maps use OpenStreetMap with a self-hosted Leaflet — no API key, no per-load billing
- Designed empty states for no results, so a filter never ends on a blank page
Booking, cart & checkout
- Live availability check with price breakdown and places left
- “Book now” and “Add to cart” on every listing
- Mixed-type cart: tours, stays, cars and experiences in one order
- Single-page checkout with customer details and order summary
- Offline payment: bank transfer (with your own instructions) or pay in person
- Automatic release of unpaid holds after a window you set
- Currency symbol, position and number format settings
- Five email notifications, each one editable or switchable off
Coupons
- Percent or fixed-amount discounts
- Active date window, minimum subtotal, total and per-customer usage limits
- Limit a coupon to certain listing types
- Featured coupons appear on the home page “Offers” band, so every code on display is one checkout accepts

- My Bookings: status, booking details and payment instructions
- Self-service cancellation requests, which you approve
- Enquiry history and profile editing

WP_DEBUGon and no notices - Every form nonce-checked, capability-checked, sanitised and escaped
- Translation-ready, with .pot files for the theme and the plugin
- Child-theme friendly, with documented hooks, filters and template functions
- Add your own listing type from a registry entry — no changes to the cart or checkout

23 inner pages, already designed

Listing pages in grid, list and map views; detail pages for every type; the cart and checkout; the customer account area; About, Contact, FAQ and Customer Care; the blog — and the empty-cart, no-results and 404 pages that most themes leave unstyled.
