My recent releases have been focused on typography and blog writing. With Ink I wanted to roll-in everything great from those themes, but also introduce an excellent, robust and filterable portfolio for displaying your gorgeous images – either via fixed image size or a masonry layout (your choice!).
Ink has some awesome features like the big n’ bold home page with automatic display of your most recent blog post and featured image, to the ultra accessible menu drop down with search, full menu and recent posts plus our unique share button that floats on your page (can be turned off in the admin panel). We also have an integrated setup of your social icons, and, each page you create, if a featured image is set, will display that image at the top banner area and expand or shrink with your viewport.
With our free Cr3ativ Shortcodes plugin you can easily add fully responsive elements such as google maps, alert boxes, columns, buttons (with or without icons) choose colors for buttons, pull quotes and so much more – we believe it’s one of the best short code plugins out there and it ensures you can transfer your content whenever you move to a new theme.

Updates
- 02/18/15 – v1.5 Updated searchform.php to correct issue on page load to show the placeholder text until search box is clicked. Updated style.css to update version #.
- 10/30/14 Version 1.4 – Updated package to include child theme and updated style.css with new version number and corrected user link.
- 04/25/14 Version 1.3 – Updated theme to support new WordPress 3.9 audio/video playlist functionality.
- 03/06/14 Version 1.2 – Updated search.php and searchform.php to return the search query to make the search more secure
- Update Version 1.1 to header.php, index.php and template-home.php to fix issue with date on blog posts. These files are the ONLY files needing to be updated.
- Release on 1/24/14 – Fixes several small UI issues and alignments, altered the width of the search page to be wider for better UX, altered the layout of site map for better UX. Fixed an issue with the social share button on Chrome and Safari browsers to stop scaling of icon on initial hover. Improved background cover responsiveness for featured images. Fixed a column issue on the alternative portfolio page. Improved tablet experience with various alterations to media queries. Added subtle parallax on the blog details box when scrolling down the page. Files to update are:
